Más que una triunfal historia lineal de los museos de vanguardia, el hilo discursivo de este libro se estructura en ocho capítulos que marcan los puntos de inflexión histórica, de ruptura, sin renunciar a describir proyectos museísticos que no llegaron a término o que alcanzaron escasa pervivencia.
