Zum Angriffspunkt der Kritik ist sie dabei bisher vor allem unter dem Gesichtspunkt ihrer aktuellen Relevanz als analytischer Begründungszusammenhang für die gegenwärtige Taktik der kommunistischen Parteien in den kapitalistischen Ländern Europas geworden. Denn bei aller Eigendynamik der methodischen und politischen Erörterungen und aller Eigenständigkeit der theoretischen Fortentwicklung in den einzelnen Ländern ist die Theorie des Stamokap im Rahmen einer einheitlidien Grundstruktur ihrer analytischen Konzeption zugleich als herrschende Kapitalismus-Theorie des sozialistischen Lagers zu identifizieren, von daher über ihre engere Bedeutung für die Begründung der gegenwärtigen Form der Volksfronttaktik der kommunistischen Parteien Europas, des Konzepts einer antimonopolistischen Bündnispolitik des friedlichen, demokratischen Weges zum Sozialismus, hinaus im Zusammenhang mit dem Gesamtkonzept der internationalen Politik der UdSSR und der mit ihr verbündeten sozialistischen Länder zu sehen. Die Gefahr der raschen Erschöpfung in Antisowjetismus, wenn nicht Antikommunismus, im Rahmen der Kritik der Theorie des Stamokap ist damit zweifellos vorgegeben4. Diese Gefahr ist allerdings, gerade bei Anerkennung der Notwendigkeit der Analyse des gegenwärtigen Kapitalismus und der praktischpolitischen Bedingungen seiner Überwindung - und d. h. der historisch-konkreten Einschätzung des gegenwärtigen Standes der Klassenauseinandersetzungen -, kein Argument gegen eine systematische Form der Kritik der Theorie des Stamokap, ihrer methodisch-kategorialen wie ihrer politisch-praktischen Implikationen*, zumal mit einer Reihe von einsichtigen empirischen Fakten und richtigen Einzelanalysen in der Einschätzung der gegenwärtigen Situation (die entgegen Versuchen bürgerlicher Kritik, sie wegzuerörtern, unleugbar sind) zugleich deutliche Ambivalenzen, Schwankungen und Veränderungen in der Theoriebildung unübersehbar bleiben. Das gilt in besonderem Maße für die Theorieentwicklung in der DDR sowie ihre vor allem seit der Neukonstituierung der DKP 1968 erfolgte Rezeption in der Bundesrepublik, auf die sich die Studien dieses Bandes primär beziehen. Schon ein erster Vergleich von Imperialismus heute (1965) und Der Imperialismus der BRD (1971) deutet auf Wandlungen und Anpassungen der Theorie innerhalb ihres vorgegebenen konzeptionellen Rahmens, ohne daß deren methodische und kategoriale Vermittlung deutlich würde: so in der analytischen Einschätzung der Möglichkeiten des staatlichen Regulierungsapparates im Hinblick auf die zuvor behauptete tendenzielle Beseitigung des einheitlichen Krisenzyklus, in der Einfügung des Versuchs einer historisch-konkreten Klassenanalyse nach den Septemberstreiks in der BRD von 1969 etc/. Unter Bezug auf den gleichwohl vorhandenen Anspruch der Theorie des Stamokap, systematische Anwendung der Marxschen Theorie auf die heutige Zeit zu sein, konzentrieren sich die Studien dieses Bandes bewußt auf die Untersuchung einiger wesentlicher methodischer und kategorialer Sachverhalte der Marx-Rezeption, die Hinweise und Erklärungen für solche Ambivalenzen und Schwankungen in der Theoriebildung zu liefern vermögen.
