Célébrer la mort comme on célèbre la vie : tel est le credo de la culture funéraire du groupe ethnique ghanéen Ga-Adangme, où des cercueils créatifs en forme d?animaux, de véhicules, etc., sont utilisés pour représenter les préférences ou les rêves du défunt. De plus, des danses parfaitement chorégraphiées transforment les funérailles en célébrations colorées et énergiques. Depuis plus de vingt ans, Regula Tschumi, titulaire d?un doctorat en ethnologie, étudie et photographie le culte funéraire ghanéen.
