This 'revision for school use' by Edwin Herbert Lewis' is copyright Scott, Foresman and Company, the publisher, 1899. This is a 'school-sized' (6 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 3/4") edition, hardcover (blue-…gray, black lettering). No jacket. Very Good for its age--very slight sign of wear on the crown and foot of the spine and on the cover corners. A previous owner's neat and tidy signature adorns the flyleaf. On the outer fore-edge are four light diagonal streaks. The pages are free of marks, notes, and damage. Bright (for the paper of the time) and clean. The binding suggests that this copy may not have been read through. 430 pages. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. Tracking number provided for no extra cost.
