Hambro. A central figure in Norwegian politics in the first of the 20th Century, Hambro also served as President of the Assembly of the League of Nations. Inscribed by C. J. Hambro to a previous owner on the front endpaper. The inscription is dated by Hambro in the year of publication. 218 pages, illustrated. There is a period photo of Hambro (possibly taken by the person to whom the book is inscribed) taped (with period tape) to the verso of the half title page. Some faint staining from the page shows on the half title page. The dust jacket has edge wear, some chipping at the top of the spine, and some foxing. Signed by Author(s).
