Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. Fourteen-year-old Alice Fireborn has spent her life helping her grandmother extract demons from the possessed. Dangerous as the work may be, it has always followed rules. Demons are the enemy. Mages keep them contained. The world makes sense.Until an extraction goes horribly wrong.Suddenly, Alice finds herself caught in the middle of forces she doesn't understand. Strange powers begin awakening within her, and questions surrounding her past become impossible to ignore. With nowhere else to turn, she is forced to seek help from the one place her missing mother warned her never to go: the Three Towers. For six years, Alice has wondered what happened to Helena Fireborn. Her mother vanished without explanation, leaving behind only a warning and a trail of unanswered questions. But as Alice enters the Towers and begins training among young mages from across the world, she quickly discovers that the truth about her mother may be connected to secrets far older than her disappearance.Assigned to a triad with the warrior Lucy Nezumi and the rogue Ash Stoker, Alice must navigate a world of magical training, ancient traditions, and dangerous trials where failure carries real consequences. As the three grow in their bond, they uncover mysteries hidden within the history of magic itself. The deeper Alice searches for answers, the more she realizes that the world is not what it seems.Forgotten legends hint at ancient powers. Long-buried secrets begin to surface. Dark forces move beyond the edges of sight, and old enemies thought lost to history stir once more. With every discovery, Alice is drawn further into a mystery that stretches beyond the walls of the Towers and reaches into the foundations of the magical world itself. But the answers she seeks may come at a cost.As strange abilities awaken within her and others begin to place impossible expectations on her future, Alice must decide who she wants to become. Some see her as a source of hope. Others see danger. Yet destiny has never been something Alice is willing to accept without question.Filled with magic, mystery, friendship, and adventure, Alice Fireborn: The Weight of Flame is a young adult fantasy about courage, identity, and the search for truth in a world built upon secrets. As darkness gathers and hidden forces move into the light, Alice will discover that the greatest challenges are not always the enemies we face-but the choices we make when the future is uncertain. And for Alice Fireborn, the journey is only beginning. The Weight of Flame is a YA fantasy adventure filled with magic, mystery, friendship, and the discovery that some secrets can change the world. This item is printed on demand. Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. This item is printed on demand - Print on Demand Titel.
