Professor Mitrinovic often used to say: 'There are no equalities, even in the human life, the inequalities are always met'. Inequalities present a very active and attractive field of research. As Richard Bellman has so elegantly said at the Second International Conference on General Inequalities (Oberwolfach, July 30 - August 5, 1978): 'There are three reasons for the study of inequalities: praetieal, theoretieal, and aesthetie.
