Original Cloth. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. First Edition. The boards are clean and unmarked. Page edges browned with five small brown stains to the fore edges. Previous owner's name and date in ink to centre of front free endpaper but the pages are otherwise unmarked. The jacket has chipping to the corners with closed tears on either side at the top and bottom of the spine. At the top of the spine the tear next to the front panel is one inch long and at the bottom of the spine both are a quarter of an inch long. The spine is browned and there is some discolouration to the front and rear panels with a little staining in places to the rear panel. Jacket design by Michael Atkinson. First printing.
