In the last two decades, the minimally invasive laparoscopic approach has become very popular worldwide, attracting great interest among patien…ts (lower risk of infection, less pain, and faster recovery) and demonstrating excellent oncological results.Technology is improving rapidly, offering revolutionary innovations, particularly with the advent of robotic surgery, which offers important advantages over laparoscopy for both surgeons and patients: improved ergonomics, wristed instruments, and a better vision. These advantages may be particularly useful for more complex and challenging situations (complete mesocolic excision, low rectal cancer, one-stage treatment of colorectal and liver metastases, etc.), translating into potential improved surgical and oncological results. Although several books have been published on the subject, the great interest in robotic surgery makes it mandatory, in our opinion, to have a general update in view of the latest technical innovations and the results of the most relevant and recent literature.The book is divided into chapters dealing with the different colorectal segments with their robotic surgical operations and specific technical variants. The new frontiers of benign and emergency colorectal diseases are also considered, as well as the new robotic platforms recently introduced in the healthcare market. Some of them, such as the da Vinci SP single port device, may represent a revolutionary approach for this surgery. Training and cost aspects were also considered. Questo libro nasce da un progetto maturato nell'ambito delle celebrazioni per i cinquecento anni dalla morte di Biagio Rossetti (1444-1516) e con il sostegno del Comitato tecnico-scientifico creato espressamente dal Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività…Culturali e del Turismo (MiBACT) nel 2016 per "mantenere viva la memoria di uno dei più importanti e rivoluzionari architetti del rinascimento italiano". A partire da nuove e approfondite ricerche d'archivio si è potuta delineare una mappa dettagliata della operatività di Rossetti nell'arco di 47 anni (dal 1469 al 1516) che consente di precisare il quadro delle sue esperienze professionali e di estendere il raggio dei suoi interventi sul territorio, offrendo nuovi spunti interpretativi a chiunque intenda proporre una lettura aggiornata e meno tendenziosa delle principali architetture ferraresi di quest'epoca, che da tempo necessitavano di essere comprese maggiormente sua iuxta principia. Partendo dall'analisi delle opere che i documenti ascrivono con certezza a Biagio, viene delineata la personalità di un progettista anticonvenzionale, radicato nella tradizione padana, ma in grado di rinnovarla con una freschezza e un'inventiva del tutto peculiari; la comprensione dello specifico linguaggio di Rossetti ha consentito di rileggerne il catalogo e approfondirne la conoscenza. Francesco Ceccarelli insegna storia dell'architettura presso il Dipartimento di Architettura dell'Università di Bologna. Al suo attivo ha la cura scientifica di mostre e convegni internazionali di storia dell'architettura ed è autore di diverse monografie e numerosi articoli scientifici. Ha collaborato con saggi sull'architettura dell'Emilia-Romagna alla collana di Storia dell'Architettura Italiana, Electa per i volumi sul Secondo Cinquecento, il Seicento e l'Ottocento. Per la BUP ha curato, tra gli altri, i volumi Il Castello di San Martino in Soverzano. Architettura, arte e mitologia familiare nel contado Bolognese (Bologna, 2013) (con N. Aksamija) e Il Nettuno architetto delle acque. Bologna. L'acqua per la città tra Medioevo e Rinascimento (Bologna, 2018) (con E. Ferretti). È presidente del Comitato tecnico-scientifico per le celebrazioni dei 500 anni dalla morte di Biagio Rossetti. Andrea Marchesi è ricercatore indipendente. Dopo gli studi universitari a Bologna e a Firenze, ha conseguito nel 2015 il titolo di dottore di ricerca in Storia delle Arti presso l'Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia. Indagato prevalentemente con lo strumento dell'indagine archivistica, il suo principale campo d'interesse è lo studio degli aspetti delle committenze artistiche, delle pratiche mecenatesche e delle strategie collezionistiche nelle corti italiane del Rinascimento, con particolare attenzione alle consuetudini dei prìncipi d'Este nel XV e XVI secolo.
