SIMONE FATTAL (\*1942, Damaskus) wurde in Syrien geboren und wuchs im Libanon auf. Nach ihrem Philosophiestudium an der École des Lettres in Beirut und der Sorbonne in Paris kehrte sie 1969 nach Beirut zurück und begann zu malen. 1980 floh sie vor dem Bürgerkrieg und ließ sich in Kalifornien nieder, heute lebt sie in Paris. Zuletzt hatte wurden ihr Ausstellungen in der Whitechapel Gallery, London, der Bergen Konsthall, im MoMA PS1 und im Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakesch gewidmet 256 pp. Deutsch, Englisch.…
