All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. A good condition complete set of 3 books. All are ex-reference library rebinds with the usual stamps and stickers, and are from the same collection and so uniform with one another in maroon leather covers. As reference library books their condition is very nice compared to usual library volumes. The covers show typical light fading to the spine colour, darkening to the boards and a little shelf wear but they remain very hardy overall Volume 1 has a few watermark-style stains to both covers. The original publisher's paperback covers are intact within. The page edges are decoratively speckled. A minor ripple to the top of the pages of volume 1. The contents show a mild amount of tanning and age, mostly in occasional dusty prints or faint tanning to the book edges, but the majority of the contents are clean with impressively bright page centres and unfaded print. The dust is most notable on the original covers and the first and last handful of pages throughout each volume and then clears considerably. The map in the rear of volume 3 have been reinforced and show some handling and small circular ink library stamps but is decent overall. The bindings are consistently firm and the paper is quite fresh for the age of the collection. A very well-kept set by the library overall. More photographs and information available on request.…
