Minor wear to spine ends, and top spine end with what looks to be a very small repair. Internally clean sound and fresh looking, with many pages unopened, A good copy of this scarce work. The preface is dated March 1837 with a short following paragraph dated April 1837 that advises that this second edition was quickly published with the alterations and corrections that would have been included in the earlier edition if time had allowed for this revision.
