Was wissenschaftlich nicht erforscht ist, wird abgewertet. August Thalhamers Buch spannt einen Bogen von uralten erprobten Heilmethoden bis hin zu den Erkenntnissen der modernen Psychotherapie. Es enthält Argumente von verschiedensten Seiten, die deutlich machen, dass die materialistische und positivistische Sicht des Menschen zu kurz greift. Anlass für das Buch war eine neue Richtlinie des Gesundheitsministeriums. Es zwingt Psychotherapeuten unter Androhung des Berufsverbots, in ihren Aussendungen zu verheimlichen, wenn sie auch transpersonale Verfahren, zum Beispiel schamanische Heilarbeit, anwenden, weil diese nicht wissenschaftlich seien. Dabei, so Thalhamer, sollte ein Kunde oder Patient wissen, dass er es mit einem Psychotherapeuten zu tun hat, der auch spirituelle Methoden schätzt. Manche kommen genau aus diesem Grund zu ihm, andere genau aus diesem Grund nicht.…
