Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. For generations, church musicians and worship leaders have wrestled with a lingering question: why does the New Testament seem to say so little about music in worship? That silence, or what many see as a lack of clear direction, has sparked plenty of discussion, disagreement, and at times, discouragement over what role music is meant to play in the life of the Church today. But what if the New Testament actually has more to say than we realize? Dr. Seel takes a deeper look at the Book of Revelation, not just as prophecy or poetry, but as a rich and often overlooked source of insight into music and worship. By exploring the forms, ensembles, and musical practices found throughout its pages and tracing their roots through early Jewish, Greco-Roman, pagan, and early Christian traditions, a more complete picture begins to emerge. The hope is that by grounding our understanding of worship music in both historical context and solid theology, we can recover a vision that speaks with clarity and purpose to today's worship leaders and church musicians, offering not just inspiration, but real, practical direction. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
