Sein spektakulärstes Projekt ist das 2002 fertiggestellte Österreichische Kulturforum in New York, das international Aufsehen erregte.Abraham betonte immer wieder, dass Archi…tektur nicht unbedingt gebaut werden muss - gespalten zwischen dem Willen zu bauen und der Lust zu träumen. Papier, Bleistift und die reine Sehnsucht nach dem Raum würden vollkommen ausreichen, um Architektur zu machen. Im Bauen sah er nur den letzten Schritt, um die physische Benutzbarkeit der Architektur zu ermöglichen.Sprache war für Abraham in gleicher Weise Werkzeug und Leidenschaft wie der Bleistift. Die Notizen, Statements, Interviews und Skizzen in diesem Band aus dem Archiv Marzona / Archiv der Avantgarden sind in der Sprache (Deutsch oder Englisch) und in der (Un-)Ordnung wiedergegeben, wie Raimund Abraham sie in seinen Skizzen- und Notizbüchern hinterlassen hat.

Kegel, Würfel, Zylinder sind jene immer wiederkehrenden Elemente der Architektur, die einer zeitlosen Ordnung gehorchen. Diese Beispiele sollen zeigen, wie in den Grenzen geografischer Abhängigkeit mit primitiven Mitteln einfache Baugedanken eindeutig und überzeugend realisiert wurden.? Die ersten Blätter sind vom Buchblock gelöst, die Leimung an dieser Stelle sichtbar; die Blätter sind allerdings nicht lose; schwach lichtrandig, sonst sehr sauber. Gut erhaltenes Exemplar! 1000 gr.
