Originally written in a letter from Samuel Pegge the Younger, an English antiquary, poet, musical composer and lexicographer who was the son of Samuel Pegge the Elder and their work is frequently intertwined. Edited by Henry Christmas, an English clergyman, a man of letters and editor of periodicals. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light wear and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Small splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine with further splits to the joints. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting and minor age toning to the extremities. Very Good. None (illustrator). book.
