In this study, a systematic process op…timization was performed with an Aspergillus terreus MTCC 479 strain obtained from Institute of Microbial Technology,Chandigarh,India.An efficient and low cost process is established for production of Itaconic acid utilizing cheap raw materials that can be helpful in improving the process economics to produce the acid efficiently while performed at pilot scale. Similarly, other cheap raw materials can also be utilized. Itaconic acid concentration was increased up to 2-3 times after purification by solvent extraction method which is an inexpensive technique for purification which can be used for large scale operations. All the physical parameters such as pH,Temperature,Dissolved oxygen(DO)etc. are optimized in present study. 80 pp. Englisch.

También pueden utilizarse otras materias primas baratas. La concentración de ácido Itacónico se incrementó hasta 2-3 veces después de la purificación por el método de extracción con disolventes, que es una técnica barata para la purificación que se puede utilizar para operaciones a gran escala. Trichoderma viride was cultured in fermentation medium of cellulose under some previously optimized growth conditions. Cellulase was purified in comparison to crude enzyme extract using ammonium sulfate precipitation, dialysis and ion exchange column chromatography. The purified cellulase was compatible with four local detergent brands suggesting its potential as a detergent additive for improved washing therefore it is concluded that it may be potentially useful for industrial purposes especially for detergent and laundry industry. The purified cellulase enzyme was also used as an alternative to degrade the waste material (potato peel) for further production of alcohol, organic acid etc. 92 pp. Englisch.
