Die Einbände in unterschiedlicher Ausprägung berieben, Kopfschnitte alle altersgemäß mit deutlicher Nachdunkelung, nahezu alle Bände mit Bibliotheksstempel auf Vortitel- und Titelblättern, das Papier teilweise nachgedunkelt, nur sehr vereinzelt braunfleckiges Papier, einige Seiten mit Knick oder kleinem Einriss oder Fleck, zahlreiche Transparentschutzpapiere der Falttafeln mit Knicken, vereinzelt dezent klaffende Bindungsstellen, Band 5 mit kleinem Loch im Lederrücken, der Rücken des 28. Bandes mit zwei kleinen Farbflecken, jener des Registerbandes mit deutlicheren Bereibungen, insgesamt befinden sich die Bücher der vierten Serie des von Lavoisier gegründeten und bis 1815 unter dem Titel "Annales de Chimie" erschienenen bekannten französichen Fachorgans der Chemie in altersgemäß gutem, teilweise sehr gutem Erhaltungszustand. In dieser Vollständigkeit äusserst selten.
