This pamphlet was apparently written by Michael Le Marchant, who covered Cal Rugby for the Oakland Tribune, and his photo appears on the last page. Undated, presumed circa 1960. Book.

Fourth Dan Fortune novel. There is a light bump to the bottom right corner of the front panel but the boards are otherwise unmarked. Narrow one-and-a-half inch long red ink stain to the bottoms of the page edges near the spine - unfortunately this also affects the pages themselves to varying degrees through from page 55 to 95 with the stain being half-an-inch high at its largest point. Faint trace of a price in pencil to the front free endpaper and some browning to the pastedowns but the pages are otherwise unmarked. Price-clipped jacket has a little rubbing and slight chipping to the corners with some light surface wear and edge creasing. Cover design by Bob Marchant/Young Artists. First printing.
