Mors fatigués, le mors supérieur du dos fendu mais solidaire, petit manque sur la pièce de titre, coins et coupes légèrement frottées, autrement intérieur frais et ouvrage en très bon état. Les Amours d'Ismène et d'Isménias (titre original grec : Hysminias et Hysmine) est un roman byzantin du XIIe siècle écrit par Eustathe Macrembolite. L'histoire raconte les aventures amoureuses tumultueuses de deux jeunes gens, Ismène et Isménias. Le récit suit les codes classiques du roman d'aventures et d'amour hellénistique. Cette uvre tragico-comique a connu un immense succès en Europe au XVIIIe siècle grâce à la traduction libre en prose poétique par Pierre-François Godard de Beauchamps en 1729.
