Theil 7.- "Infolge ihrer Drehung mußte der Sonne eine Abplattung zukommen. B. von Lindenau glaubte aus seinen Messungen eine Veränderlichkeit des Sonnendurchmessers nachweisen zu können. Auwers hatte jedoch auf Grund einer Untersuchung von 30.000 Beobachtungen diese Behauptung nicht bestätigen können.
