Georges Guillain, né à Paris en 1876 et mort en 1961, fut un neurologue français dont les travaux ont marqué la neurologie du premier xxe siècle, notamment aux côtés de Barré. Cette notice appartient ainsi à un moment où l'expérience clinique de la Grande Guerre nourrit directement la recherche neurologique et la prise en charge des blessés.

Front cover is detached (present); spine paper is mostly gone; what is left of the spine tends to crumble when the book is handled; binding is brittle and chipped; volume is shaken; interior text block has crack, at which two sections of the book are attached very precariously by threads; text clean.
