Album di fotografie con copertina rigida in tutta tela e dorso ed angoli in pelle con titolo Sicile impresso in oro sul dorso. Esso consta di 31 fotografie di grandi dimensioni (i formati sono diversi ma tutti riconducibili a circa 25 x 20 cm circa) incollate sui fogli dell'album (una fotografia per ogni facciata dei 16 cartonci…ni). Diverse le tecniche fotografiche, tra queste le albumine e il formato inalterabile. Presumibilmene databile nel periodo che va dalla fine dell'800 ai primi anni del '900. Dimensioni dell'album: 40 x 38,5 cm circa. Tutte le fotografie sono paesaggistiche. La maggior parte delle fotografie presenta un'indicazione relativa al luogo e un numero che individua, probabilmente nell'archivio del fotografo, l'immagine. Molte fotografie presentano l'indicazione Ed. Brogi (tutte all'albumina) mentre su altre non vi è alcuna indicazione. Su una fotografia senza indicazione di edizione, si legge Edizione inalterabile. Alcune fotografie nell'album si distinguono per il soggetto che le rende particolarmente animate. Ad esempio quella ritraente un carretto siciliano, realizzata dal grande fotografo di napoli: Sommer). Di Sommer, in totale, sono presenti due foto. Un altro importante fotografo indicato su tre delle fotografie dell'album è Giovanni Crupi. Lo stato conservativo, nel complesso, può definirsi buono anche se vi sono inevitabili usure e qualche segno. In particolare si segnalano sgualciture e difetti (abrasioni) sul dorso e i piatti dell'album. Le fotografie, in buono stato conservativo, sono state incollate alle pagine e qualcuna presenta qualche macchiolina marginale presumibilmente causate dalla colla utilizzata. Tra le varie località ritratte nelle fotografie, segnaliamo: Messina, Monreale, Girgenti, Taormina, Siracusa, Palermo Etna e Isola Bella.
