Paperback. Condition: New - Very Good. From the mid-1990s George Rodrigue's paintings often featured a distinctive blue dog, inspired by a 'Cajun werewolf' folk legend in his native Louisiana. This monograph reviews his artistic development from the landscapes, outdoor scenes, family gatherings and group portraits of the 1960s and 1970s to the bold line and bright colours of his later blue dog paintings of the early 2000s. Slightly off-mint.
