Dust jacket rubbed and toned, chipping at spine and flap fold ends with additional surface peeling to spine head causing loss to lat two letters of title, long tear to dj joint between spine and front panel, tearing along front flap fold as well; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Handsomely bound in light green cloth with bright gilt stamping to spine and both boards; light toning to spine cloth and at board edges. Toning and foxing as well as some staining to text block edges; past owner's ink signature partially obscured under swath of black marker on front free endpaper; interior pages are clean. Binding is firm. Sewn-in page marker. A very good- copy in a good dust jacket.
