Die Sukzessionsforschung soll uns sagen, wie sich bestimmte Flächen voraussichtlichentwickeln werden und zu welchem Zeitpunkt aus ökologischer Sicht besonders wertvolle Flächen vorliegen. Damit verbundene Pflegeregime (wie im vorliegenden Fall durch Schafbeweidung) geben dann zusätzlich Hinweise für ein sinnvolles Management dieser Flächen.
