Dabei erkannte er erstmals, dass der Beton den Druck und das Eisen den Zug aufnehmen und deshalb die Bewehrung in der Zugzone des Betons liegen muss. Seine Forschungsergebnisse veröffentlichte er in vorliegendem Werk, das besonders für die Betonbauweise im deutschsprachigen Raum große Bedeutung erlangte. - Namensstempel auf Titel.
