Kitton's intellectual biography and bibliography of the "minor writings" of Charles Dickens. An apparent First Edition, though not so stated. Bound handsomely in a short hardcover format, measuring 4 3/4" x 7" in width and height, respectively. Olive-drab cloth, gilt titles to front and spine, bevelled edges, scuffing to and rubbing of spine head and foot, rubbing of gilt lettering at spine, but lettering to front cover still fine, as is the publisher's gilt owl logo to front cover. From the series The Book-Lover's Library, edited by Henry B. Wheatley. Scattered pencil notes, else clean and relatively bright, though moderately toned of endpapers front and rear, chipping thereto, too. Rough-cut fore-edges. A valuable checklist for Dickens lovers everywhere. xi, 1-260 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
