Both panels and spine have light soiling and staining but the front panel image is nearly intact with just several small smudges. Except for a penciled name on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks or page damage of any sort; end pages are toned where a book cover had been installed--these are the only stains in the book. Hinges are strong, frontis + 5 is intact and the paper is very flexible.

It is square, with no edge dings; it has mild soiling and all four corners are lightly bumped without fraying; head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped with no fraying. Except for a penciled name/date ("Nov. 28, 1908") on the FFEP, and inked "FA" on the front paste down, the interior is free of writing, stray marks and page damage of any sort; a few pages have small non-intrusive stains.
