Accomunate dal desiderio di riflettere sulle problematiche sociali e culturali del tempo, con particolare attenzione alla Woman Question, e di trovare una forma estetica capace di rappresentare il nuovo modello femminile incarnato dalla New Woman, contribuirono al dibattito nella definizione di nuovi codici morali.
