Edizione italiana e inglese. «Nel 1624 Urbano VIII Barberini decise di avviare il restauro del Battistero Lateranense per ripristinare l'organicità che era andata perduta con i vari interventi cinquecenteschi, promossi a partire da Giulio II della Rovere. L'incarico di supervisionare i lavori fu affidato ad Adriano Ceva che nel 1632 fu sostituito da Angelo Giori, mentre il restauro architettonico fu eseguito da Domenico Castelli e, successivamente, da Gian Lorenzo Bernini che vi lavorò sino al 1635. Nel 1636 fu commissionata ad Andrea Sacchi la decorazione interna - terminata soltanto nel 1649 - che prevedeva la suddivisione degli spazi con due serie di storie: nel tamburo della cupola furono collocati otto dipinti con episodi della vita di San Giovanni Battista, mentre le pareti laterali furono affrescate con cinque scene della vita di Costantino. A queste lavorarono Andrea Camassei, Giacinto Gimignani, Carlo Magnoni e Carlo Maratti, che eseguirono rispettivamente la Battaglia di Ponte Milvio e il Trionfo di Costantino, la Visione della Croce, il Costantino brucia gli scritti di Ario al primo Concilio di Nicea e la Distruzione degli idoli pagani. Il bozzetto [Costantino brucia gli scritti di Ario al primo Concilio di Nicea, Spoleto, Fondazione Marignoli di Montecorona], non menzionato nei contributi più recenti dedicati a San Giovanni in Fonte, mostra delle differenze con la redazione finale dell'episodio e quindi non può essere né una copia né una memoria eseguita successivamente. Il recupero del dipinto è un'acquisizione importante per la conoscenza di Carlo Magnoni».…

Achieving an adequate intake of macro and micro-nutrients is an important objective for all ages of life and, particularly, for those of pediatric age, since it is crucial for cognitive development. Nutrition has also a therapeutic effect. Nutritional interventions tailored to specific pathologies are needed to prevent nutritional deficiencies and maintain an adequate nutritional status, since children and adolescents with chronic or inflammatory diseases are particularly vulnerable and at major risk of developing malnutrition.…
