Hard Cover. Condition: Fair. Agnes Stringer (illustrator). Brown cover with paste on illustration on front. Spine was loose and has been neatly repaired with clear book tape. Inside hinges also taped for reinforcement. Front end paper has note stating London 1897. End papers show spots of light foxing. Pencil scribble in back was erased but indentation still visible. Pages clean and tight with no writings or tears. A few pages with minor spots of foxing in margins. There are 12 full page color illustrations by Stringer. At the end, there is reference to Richard Clay & Sons, Limited, London and Bungay. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
