Boards have visible rubbing and noticeable bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends as well. Unclipped jacket with heavy edge wear and visible rubbing. This book covers the personal reminiscences of Lord Casey during the war years, most particulary the three posts he held in succession from 1940: Australian Minister in Washington [1940-42]; Minister of State in the Middle East , with a seat in the War Cabinet [1942-43]; and Governor of Bengal [1944-46]. No previous ownership marks. A clean, square, unmarked copy [but for inside covers and article affixed]. Very good+ in a very good+ dust-jacket.
