Severe cracking to gutters and hinges, with exposed netting. Binding is weakened. Pen inscriptions to front free endpaper. Price sticker to front free endpaper. Bookseller sticker to rear pastedown. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Lettering to spine darkened.

"Being the thrilling adventures, authentically told, of a worthy son of the celebrated Jack, the Giant Killer." Former owner may be the Casper W. Owen who became a Canadian agricultural researcher in the first half of the twentieth century - or a relative.
