Hardcover. Condition: As New. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. The red cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine and the 238 pages of this volume are unmarked. There is an additional page to the book which lists the other publications in the series, Studies in the History of Medieval Religion. This volume is number XIII(13) in the series. The copyright page has the "First Published 1998" statement and no other printings noted and in the listing of books in the series, the last one is XII, thus it is presumed to be a First Edition of this publication. The dust wrapper has two small tears and has light sunning at the spine. The tears are located at the fold from the front panel to the front flap and along the upper edge of the back panel. The dust jacket is currently protected by a clear removable cover.
