Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Second Edition. No publication date given. This novel was first published by Nelson in 1928 so this is perhaps a second edition from around 1930 or slightly later. There is some darkening to the spine with a little rubbing at the top and bottom. Light corner rubbing. The page edges are a little browned with one brown spot on the fore edges and two brown spots on the bottom edges. There is a gift message from the author signed 'MCB' to her mother at the top of the front free endpaper and the endpapers are browned but the pages are otherwise unmarked.
