Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. A scarce vintage horseracing book: "My Racing Adventures" by Arthur Nightingall. Published in hardback by T.Werner Laurie in circa 1901. Presumed First Edition. 280pp. The book is in Good condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are clean and the gilt lettering on the spine area, whilst faded, is still clearly readable. There is a small indentation on the front board above and to the right of the author's portrait. The page edge blocks are tanned from age and handling (the top edge is darkened, as often seen). Internally there is a previous owner's name in pen on the front pastedown. The vast majority of the internal pages are clean and unmarked, but not all as there is edge damage to several pages, as seen in the accompanying scans. Aside from this, the book is annotation and foxing free and the pages are very presentable. Any questions, please just ask.…
