Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. dj has closed tears, chipping top of the spine and top corner tips, label removal mark on front. An amazing story of how Albert Klestadt, in an open native boat with a crew of a war-like and treacherous race, sailed from the Philippines to Australia using a page from a Dutch atlas as a chart. This book, of which this voyage is the climax, was written from a diary and log kept by the author between 1941 and 1942. A first draft was written in 1944 but censorship did not release it until later. Sailing.
