Condition: Fair. 1905. Second Edition. 44 pages. Illustrated paper covers. Rough-cut pages. Moderate foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges and reverse of covers. Light cracking to gutters and hinges but binding remains firm. Paper covers have light edge-wear and corner curling with moderate tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light rolling and creasing.

Old stains on cover. Foxcraft was a long-serving librarian at the State Library Victoria who had a special interest in incjnabules. In 1938 he travelled to England to acquire incunables for the library's collection, but died on the return voyage. He is honoured each year with the annual Foxcraft Lecture on bibliography.

First Edition. a small delightful little book being The Broadbent Treasuries no 15.The book has rough;cut edges and has a distinct period look.A small drawing of a daffodil rests on the cover just beneath the title page. the book shows little wear but could be a little dusty due to it's age. An ink inscription is on the inside front cover but this somehow adds to its charm. The date of the book is 1913 but this could be the date of the publishing house. The date on the inscription is 1944, perhaps a gift for a loved one during the war. Book.
