Mallowan en 1936 et 1937.This third excavation report on the new excavations at Chagar Bazar, which were resumed in 1999, contains the complete publication of the 214 Old Babylonian cuneiform tablets and hundreds of sealings bearing cylinder-seal impressions discovered in Area I between 2000 and 2002. The contexts of the discoveries are also briefly described.Most of the tablets belong to the palatial archives from the reign of the king Samsi-Addu and the information gathered through the study of the texts sheds new light on the understanding of the Old Babylonian tablets discovered by M.
