During his apprenticeship as a painter he moved to the Netherlands and spent time in the Brussels workshop of Rogier van der Weyden. Some wear and scuffing at spine and corner tips, slight rubbing with occasional foxing to preliminaries and endpapers, otherwise sound, close very good.
