Watson as rendered in the 19th-century wood engravings of the Brothers Dalziel of London. No date in book, but c. early 1900s. Small book (12mo) has publisher's red cloth over boards stamped in brown, black, & gray with a religious design on front, white & black lettering to front & spine (title nearly completely worn away on latter, rubbed in spots on front cover). Condition is VG: very clean, binding straight & strong, but front hinge starting. Pages show heavy tanning & some brittleness; no foxing. Former owner's library sticker inside front cover, else, completely unmarked. Pushing to both ends of spine with 1/4" tear descending from top; bumped corners, rubbing to extremities.
