The cover has creases to the edges and corners and numbers written… to the front. The inside pages are without markings, but there is a punch through label for the Franklin institute on the title page. The manual covers turning, drilling, tapping, threading, milling, broaching, reaming, filing, stoning, lubrication, and sawing. The manual is wrapped in brown paper that is glued at the spine.
