Hernd…on ( Former Chairman of the American Hotel Association) to Cornell University. FEP has signs of removed pocket. FFEP has neat PO signature dated 1904. Page edges have faded "Hotel Administration Library" stamped. 214 Illustrations plus two maps. Frontispiece photograph of the author with tissue guard present, but loose. Text is only minimally toned. Herndon was also a former VP of Hilton Hotels as well as Treasurer of the Waldorf- Astoria. The entirety of his extensive book collection on cookery and culinary subjects was bequeathed to Cornell in 1953.
