Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - This study evaluated a custom-designed coursemanagement system in use at a public institution inthe United States. While focusing on gatheringinformation relevant to the continued development ofthe course management system, this study sought toidentify the relationship among user characteristics, usability factors, and acceptance of the coursemanagement system in order to clarify the applicationof the Technology Acceptance Model to this uniquesituation. This study also sought to identifyusability problems with course features. The dataindicated that three usability factors, ease ofnavigation, ease of learning, and visual perceptionwere significant predictors of acceptance of thecourse management system. The usability of featureswas examined using both Likert-scale items andcontent analysis of open-ended survey questions. Thecontent analysis of the open-ended items revealedseveral specific problems that were commonlyencountered while using specific course features. Based on these findings, several recommendations aremade toward the improvement of the custom-designedcourse management system and also toward theimprovement of the survey instrument for future use.
