He has visited IFP, france to evaluate the use of seismic sources for onshore and offshore exploration. he retired as Chief Engineer (E&T) from ONGC in 1990. He has pubolished more than 110 papers and two books.He is an Associate Member of the Instution of Engineers (India), Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (L:ondon) and Fellow of the Institution of Instrumentation Scientists and Technologists (India).
