Henley Publishing Co. Sewn binding in maroon impregnated cloth-covered boards. Missing jacket. Title block stamped in gold foil on front cover and on spine. Some edge wear at the top and base of the spine and the front hinge, and the fore corners are lightly bumped. There is a small area at the tip of the fore corner on the back cover where, it appears, a piece of the jacket had been adhered by moisture to the binding. Mild soiling from use to the fore edge of the book block. A previous owner's name and date ("36") in pencil on front paste down. Age toning to end papers, and generally to pages throughout. Binding is comfortably loose but remains sound and square. Pages are clean and unmarked.
