Former owner name and several numerals to the half-title verso. A very good copy of this early work on the theory, practice and development of aviation (somewhat heavy on the umlauts). A one-page advertising flyer ("Executive for 1902") for The Aeronautical Institute and Club (founded in 1901 "to encourage practical experiment in Aeronautics, and generally to advance the interest of the Science") laid-in.
