It names 34 places across 41 dated entries.The diary opens at Le Havre on 17 June 1916. 1916 is spent at Lestrem, Le Havre, C Gorgue and Ford Ham. 1917 at Neulette, Metz, Fampoux, Simencourt and Zeggers Cappel. 1918 at Fresnoy and Vaux. It closes at Vaux on 28 February 1918. Neulette is where it spent longest, 33 days, it came back to Fampoux three separate times, and the longest it stayed anywhere without moving was 31 days at Metz.Trench and battlefield features named in the diary include Trenches Kratz Sous.In 1917 it is also recorded at Hedeauville, Beauquesne, Grimont, Conteville, Argenvillers, St Firmin, Ergnies, Framerville, Trenches Kratz Sous and Harbonniers.
