Bonus Item: A written letter from the author to the prior owner on letterhead of the "Congressional Medal of Honor Society" that describes how she and her husband (Don Ross, Chairman of the Public Affairs and Historical Committee of the aforementioned society) are working on a new book with the working title of "USS Nevada" that will cover the entire history of this great battleship, on which her husband served on for six years. There is also mention in this letter that Don Ross was the first recipient of the Medal of Honor to return to the U.S. in 1942; also mentions Denver and Colorado connections to this story. Booklet measures 5.5" x 8.25" with 48 pages. In excellent condition.
